Such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lights*<\/li>\n<li>Appliance Control\/Smart Socket<\/li>\n<li>Door Locks*<\/li>\n<li>Thermostats*<\/li>\n<li>Sirens<\/li>\n<li>Water Valves<\/li>\n<li>Garage Door Opener<\/li>\n<li>Home Energy Meter<\/li>\n<li>Z-Wave Repeater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35592 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/alarmguardsecurity.ca\/version26\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SMART-AUTOMATION-DEVICE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"777\" height=\"509\"><\/p>\n<p>Usually, if an automation device is Z-Wave supported, it should be compatible with the IQ Panel 2\/2+ &#038; 4. The panel can pair up to 80 Lights, 20 Door Locks, 10 Thermostats, 6 Garage Door Openers, 15 Smart Sockets and 21 \u201cOther\u201d devices for a total of 152 Z-Wave devices.<\/p>\n<p>(*Examples of how to pair some common Z-Wave devices are available in a separate section.)\n<\/p>\n<h2>HOW TO CLEAR A Z-WAVE DEVICE FROM THE IQ PANEL 2 ?<\/h2>\n<p>\nTo access the <strong>Z-Wave Devices<\/strong> settings, first go to the panel\u2019s <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong> menu and type in <strong>1111<\/strong>, which is the Installer access code. You cannot change the Z-Wave settings using your master code, unless the installer enabled it inside the Z-Wave settings. If this does not allow you inside the menu please contact your local security dealer to enable access.<\/p>\n<p>In the Advanced Settings menu:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select <strong>Installation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Devices<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Z-Wave Devices<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Perform a <strong>Clear Device<\/strong> first whenever enrolling a new Z-Wave device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n(This is great practice when enrolling any new zwave device for connectivity)\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To access the <strong>Z-Wave Devices<\/strong> settings, follow the same procedure as Add Device in the section above.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Clear Device<\/strong>, A message will appear saying the panel is in \u201cClear\u201d mode.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <strong>\u201cPair\u201d or \u201cLearn\u201d<\/strong> button on the actual Z-Wave device.*<\/li>\n<li>Panel returns to the Z-Wave Device menu when complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>*NOTE: Each Z-Wave device has a different \u201clearn\u201d button and a different way to pair.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>HOW TO ADD A Z-WAVE DEVICE USING THE IQ PANEL 2 ?<\/h2>\n<p>\nTo access the Z-Wave Devices settings, first go to the panel\u2019s Advanced Settings menu and type in 1111, which is the Installer access code. Press \u201cAdd\u201d to save the information and complete the process.
